The Pinkprint is the name of Nicki Minaj's fourth official perfume and the seventh scent overall. Like her previous fragrances, she is involved with every aspect of the process including product development, packaging, and advertising. Nicki hinted at the fragrance in an interview back in June 2015, but it was officially announced on July 24, 2015 when she appeared on Good Morning America.

BackgroundEdit

In June 2015, during an interview, Nicki hinted at a fourth official fragrance. On July 14, 2015, while she visited Good Morning America, she officially announced the name and release date of the fragrance. "The Pinkprint", it's official name, was confirmed with a September 2015 release date although it arrived at Kohl's in August, a month earlier.

Release and promotionEdit

The fragrance became available for purchase exclusively at Kohl's in August 2015. It was released in other department stores in September 2015.

As part of the promotion of her fragrance, Minaj opened a website exclusively for her fragrance called http://thepinkprintfragrance.com/, on July 24, 2015. The website included information about the fragrance, the campaign, sign up options, and links for buying the fragrance as well as her past 6 fragrances. She went on Good Morning America to announce the fragrance.
