It was released on December 20, 2011 as the second promotional single from her second studio album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. It was produced by DJ Diamond Kuts and Pink Friday Productions. A music video for the song was shot and directed by Hype Williams. The video went to break the record for the most views by a single artist within 24 hours of its release. It is currently 4th behind Justin Bieber 's Boyfriend, One Direction's "Live While We're Young" (8.34 million) and Justin Bieber's Beauty and a Beat (10.6 million) which also features Nicki Minaj . The week following the song's release, it debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 81. After the video's release, the song moved to number 59 which is its current peak.

Upon its release, the video set a record by accumulating 4.8 million views during its first 24 hours of being uploaded to VEVO.^[1] The record was later broken by Rihanna's "Where Have You Been", which garnered 4.9 million.^[2] And later was broken by Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" which amassed more than 8 million views in 24 hours. ^[3] That record was broken by Once Direction's "Live While We're Young". Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj claimed this record again with their Beauty and a Beat music video that reached 10.6 million views in 24 hours.
