On July 7, 2014, radio station WGCI announced on Instagram that Usher was dropping his new single called She Came to Give It to You on there the next morning featuring Nicki Minaj and produced by Pharrell. It was available to purchase the same day. The song was released to Urban stations on July 15, 2014 and was the #2 most added song of the week. It was also the #1 most added that same week on Top 40 Rhythmic radio. It was released to Top 40 Mainstream (Pop) stations on July 22.
