Nicholas Telemaque is the deceased cousin of Nicki Minaj. In July 2011, he was murdered near his home in Brooklyn, New York City. Nicki talked about the tragedy on the song "Champion" on her second studio album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded;;. Her words were, "Cuz they killed my little cousin Nicholas, But my memories only happy images."
