Shondrae Crawford, better known as Bangladesh or Mr. Bangladesh, is a Grammy Award winning American record producer and disc jockey (DJ) and rapper, who was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, and now lives in Atlanta, Georgia. He works with the label Cash Money Bangladesh had produced and co-write Did It On'em.
Bangladesh began producing beats in 1998, but his first big break did not come until 2000 with his production of the hit single, "What's Your Fantasy" for Ludacris, with whom he then worked with many times afterward. In respect to his name, he's said he chose the name Bangladesh because he describes his keyboard-centric production style as "Bangladesh": "It's just Bangladesh. It's foreign to the ears." He worked with Lil Wayne, producing one of his most successful singles - "A Milli". He also produced the beat behind Gucci Mane's song Lemonade, which went on to be remixed or freestyled over by many artists, including Yelawolf, Curren$y, Tyler, the Creator with Earl Sweatshirt, and Big Sean. He also produced Wayne's hit 2011 song "6 Foot 7 Foot", featuring Cory Gunz, and he has produced for Ludacris, Beyoncé, Ke$ha, Usher, Nicki Minaj, T-Pain, Bad Meets Evil, Ice Cube, and many other artists. Bangladesh collaborated with Barbadian singer Rihanna on Talk That Talk for the song "Cockiness (Love It)".
