Influence on Nicki Minaj[]
Nicki Minaj has cited Monroe as one of her biggest influences. She was dressed as her in the music video for Madonna's single (featuring Minaj and rapper M.I.A.,"Give Me All Your Luvin'". Madonna and M.I.A. were also dressed as Marylin Monroe. The fifteenth track off Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded was titled "Marilyn Monroe" and was inspired by Monroe. Minaj also makes reference to Monroe in the first verse of "Girl On Fire (Inferno Version)", the remix of Alicia Keys' song "Girl On Fire".
