The Barclaycard Wireless Festival 2012 was a music festival in England that takes place every year in Hyde Park, London except for 2006 and 2007 where it took place at Harewood House, Leeds. It is owned and managed by Live Nation. From its inception in 2005 until 2008, the festival was sponsored by telecommunications company O2, and was called the O2 Wireless Festival. Since 2009 the main sponsor has been Barclaycard and the festival renamed to Barclaycard Wireless Festival. The 2012 Wireless Festival was held from July 6- July 8, 2012.
Line-Up[]
Almost 100 artist performed at the festival. Many famous artist performed including: Nicki Minaj, Drake, Wiz Khalifa, Rihanna, Rita Ora, Jessie J, J.Cole, Pitbull, Cher Lloyd, and The Roots who all peformed on the main stage. Many other artist were: Lloyd, The-Dream, Far East Movement, Calvin Harris, A$AP Rocky, Kreayshawn, and Labrinth. Nicki included the festival as one of her concerts for her Pink Friday Tour. She performed on the 2nd day, July 7, 2012.
