In 2013 when the show first premiered, a press release by Cartoon Network confirmed that Nicki Minaj would make a guest appearance as a character in the show's first season. She appeared as the character Sugilite in the episode "Coach Steven". The episode leaked online on July 21, 2013, and premiered on Cartoon Network on November 4, 2013.
