Background[]
During Meek Mill's Fader interview in May 2015, it was confirmed that he had a song called "Bad for You". It was said that he and Nicki disagreed on which single should be released first, this one or a song called "All Eyes On You", which also features Minaj and Chris Brown. Both songs were described as "slow-burning, sensual ballads," however, "All Eyes On You" was a "no-brainer" and obvious radio hit according to Nicki. She said "his voice sounds ill, the flow sounds ill". On the other hand, Meek said he could "see a crowd of people singing "Bad for You"".
The song was confirmed to feature Nicki on June 24, 2015. Nicki convinced Meek to release "All Eyes On You" first. There is still a chance that this one will be released in the future. "Bad for You" was released with the rest of the album as a digital download on June 29, 2015.
