Bet awards 2013

The BET Awards were established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network to celebrate African Americans and other minorities in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment over the past year. The awards are presented annually, and they are broadcast live on BET. The 2013 awards will be held on June 30, 2013 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. She performed Love More and I'm Out, and won the award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist. She has become the first and only female rapper to win the award 4 years in a row.

Chris Brown opened the show with a performance his song "Love More," joined by Nicki Minaj, who entered the theatre in a cage suspended from the ceiling. Later, Minaj joined Ciara for a performance of "I'm Out."
